The glass itself
760°C
Continuous heat resistance. Schott Robax® is the ceramic glass the stove industry builds around — it lives inches from the flame for years.
4MM
One thickness, no compromises. Thick enough to shrug off thermal shock, thin enough to keep the fire view crystal clear.
120+YRS
Combined experience across the team of craftsmen — trusted to cut glass for stately homes, world heritage sites and local authorities.
Measure it right
Get these right and your pane drops straight in — the configurator above prices it as you type.
Rule 01
If you know your stove make and model, search our catalogue for the correct replacement glass.
Rule 02
Always compare the dimensions shown with your existing glass before ordering.
Rule 03
Use the correct gasket, position the glass carefully and never overtighten the retaining screws.
Specification
Tighten the retaining screws gently and evenly — over-tightening is the most common cause of cracked panes. Never bed stove glass in fire cement; it can't expand and will crack. While the door's off, check the rope seal and replace it if it's flattened.
Order before 2pm Monday to Friday and your pane is cut and dispatched the same working day, with next-day delivery available across the UK.
Every pane is made to order to a published size and checked before it's packed by hand. If anything isn't right on arrival, ring the workshop on 01274 892360 and we'll put it right.
Draw around your old glass on paper or card, post the template with your order number to the workshop — Unit 7, East Avenue, Keighley BD21 3JX — and it's cut and dispatched the same or next working day after it arrives.

Read all on TrustpilotMeasured twice, ordered once — the new pane dropped straight into my Evergreen. Exactly the size I asked for.
Ordered at lunchtime on Tuesday, fitted by Wednesday evening. The stove was back on before the cold snap.
Beautifully packed and genuinely helpful on the phone when I wasn't sure how to measure.
Questions
The workshop cuts and prices to the nearest square centimetre, so sizes go in as centimetres with decimals — 12.3 × 45.6, not 123 × 456 mm or inches. Type millimetres by mistake and the form spots it and offers to convert.
Robax rarely fails from heat alone. The usual culprits are over-tightened retaining screws, glass bedded in fire cement, or a knock. Fit the new pane gently and it should see out many winters.
Yes — all makes and models, excluding concave (curved) glass. If you know your stove, you can also order by make & model; if not, your measurements are all the workshop needs.
